Jamie's Italian : A Focaccia Party + New Kids Menu
The past month had been a special treat for our little chefs in the house. Given that the boy's dream is to be a chef, it will be hard to resist invites that will take him a little closer to his dream. Being supportive parents, we intend to let our children pursue their dreams as they wish. Thus when Jamie's Italian invited us for a Focaccia Party at Vivocity, we are all set to go!

Price at $45++ per kid, it would be a great alternative for a mini birthday bash for the kids.

No standard 'hotdogs and nuggets' fare here. The food here is all natural with a splendid Italian influence.

Seasonal Vegetable Bruschetta ($10.50++)
Marinated and grilled vegetables, smashed minty pea pesto, ricotta & mint.
Crab Spaghetti ($26++) - only available at Jamie's Italian Vivo City
An old classic of chilli, garlic, fennel, capers, anchovies and brown crab meat fried until aromatic and all ingredients are combined. Pasta is cooked till nearly al dente then added to brown crabmeat mixture with some vegetable stock. When al dente, we stir through some white crab meat and lemon juice and combine thoroughly.
Penna Arrabbiata ($22++)
Tomato, garlic & basil sauce with chili & crunchy, herby breadcrumbs.
Lamb Chops Scottaditto ($44++)
Lamb chops cooked al mattone, a Tuscan method of grilling meat under a brick which pushes the meat further against the grill's grates, allowing it to develop a smoky, juicy and flavourful result.
Crab Arancini ($12.50++)
Fried balls of crab risotto served with a complimentary delicate summer salad of crunchy fennel, soya beans and celery leaf.
My personal favourite will be the Lamb Chops Scottaditto, while we think the Crab Spaghetti would be worth a try.
Unless you have a grill and smoker at home, you might want to drop by Jamie's Italian to check them out
