Christmas Season is our favourite holiday season. This is the season where we get to have opportunities to spend more time with our family due to school holidays.

One of the best way to celebrate as a family is to enjoy a meal together. A Christmas meal allows the family to sit down and enjoy the company of each other. The best gift for Christmas is not the latest toys, the must have gadgets or the fancy fashion accessories. Rather it will be the opportunity for the family to come together and spend quality time with each other. If I had my way, I would love to make a Christmas buffet an annual affair in the family.

Upon the invitation of Holiday Inn Atrium Singapore, we get to sample their Christmas buffet menu. It was a serene evening as we dine in the open, bright and modern Atrium restaurant.

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium has set up some new Buffet spread made specially for this upcoming Christmas menu. Look out for the following dishes for the Christmas Buffet. With Lobsters and Lamb on the menu, it would add more value to the buffet.

Cream of Spring Bay Black Mussel with Fennel

Pan Seared Lobster with Tomato Stew and Onion Espuma

Roast Rack of Lam with Apricot and Thyme Jus

In addition to the dishes above, the Atrium Restaurant features an extensive buffet that covers International dishes as well as local dishes.

Bread an soup Counter

With a wide array of food, how do we start our buffet?
Simple, have your starter , followed by Main dish and end if with Dessert with Coffee or Tea.
Our first stop is the well stocked bread and soup counter.

Starters

The next stop is the starter bar . There are cold cut hams, salads and olive to ready your palate for the main course.

One of the 'main course most will go for first will be the seafood counter. From mussels to scallops to Sushi and Shasimi, you will be spoiled for choice.

The best part about buffet at Singapore Atrium is that you get to have a taste of both east and west. You can opt to choose western mains such as roast beef ...

or mix it up with Asian style stir fried beef.

Don't miss the local dishes. We love the Chill Crayfish , a variant of Chilli crab.

Yummylicous !

Kids are not left out as they have their own Kids Corner with satay, hotdogs and more.

Even though it is stated as a kids corner, you do see an adult or two heading over there. It is hard to resist especially if you have dishes such as prawn satay!

To complete your meal, leave some space in your tummy for ice cream .

The dessert corner is a hit too with the various cakes, ice kacang and jelly.

The quality of the food is excellent at Singapore Atrium. I think we only stop after 5 rounds around the buffet table!

Take your pick from the vast collection of Dilmah tea to wash down all the food!

A quiet ambience, fantastic service (especially from Mr Kartik) and glorious food made that evening a delight for the family. As a place for family gathering for this Christmas season, Atrium Restaurant would be on our list.
