I was never a scout, but that has always been my personal motto. Being a cautious Dad, I would be on a constant look out for kits that would be helpful to the family for different situations. In case you are wondering, protecting from haze is more than just putting on a face mask , there are other thing you need to be prepared for. Allergies from the haze can cause other health issues such as irritated eyes and skin allergies.

Having mask is a given. For long term exposures, N95 masks are recommended. For short term use, disposable face mask can be considered depending on the reason for use.

Rinz Normal Saline Eye Drops

If you have been outdoors on a haze day, you would have experience the piercing sensation through your eyes. Having eye drops on standby would be great to soothe the tired and irritated eyes.

Euderm Cream

Due to haze, it can cause skin dryness and clogged pores. This might lead to allergic reactions such as hives and eczema. One can expect symptoms such as intense itching , wheals and inflammation. Euderm cream, a deep moisturising cream, would be useful to replenish moisture and relieve infantile and allergic eczema.

For treatment of allergy and cold symptoms, it might be wise to have Adezio Anti-histamines on hand to provide 24 hours relief.  It comes in a lychee flavor oral solution for kids and non drowsy tablet form for adults.
