Heading to Perth this year-end holiday?

Perth is the most underrated city in Australia. When it comes to planning a holiday for kids in Australia, most would choose the bustling Sydney or the adrenaline theme park filled Gold Coast as a choice destination. Perth is probably the fourth or fifth city, one would consider for holidays in Down Under.

In honest truth, Perth was our backup plan when our trip to New Zealand was postponed.  At the end of the trip, we had such a blast that it will be a shame not to share this hidden gem. Move over Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast, Perth had now become our favourite family destination in Australia. With a manageable flight time of 5 hours, Perth makes a choice get away from the city-state Singapore whenever we need one.

  2. Wow.. Fantastic! Thanks for sharing cos you changed my mind as initially I am afraid Perth will be a boring and expensive place to go. Planning a family trip with my 5yo boy and 15 mths boy really makes me headache. After reading your post, I think I can follow your itinerary. Hahahhaaa..

But seems like accommodation there are not cheap too. But we would love to have farmstay. Any recommendation?

  3. hi, i chanced upon this post as i'm exploring for a family trip to Perth with my 2yo kid. May I ask if it's doable for a trip to Perth if self-drive is not an option for us? Is it still worth a visit and how can we travel around the main attractions? Also, any tips on the best month to visit Perth, with the consideration for kids as i'm concerned if it might be too hot or rainy or etc (concerned over high UV index and how to properly dress my kid for their weather). Thanks!
