Rawai Vip Villa
Rawai Vip Villa is located on Rawai Beach. Rawai Beach is an idyllic beach located on the South of Phuket, away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. Rawai beach was the first tourist beach in Phuket. Today it is a working beach and launching point if you would like to visit the nearby islands. It is relatively quiet compared to the rest of the beaches in Phuket.
If you want to have a relaxing holiday without the noise and congested feel from the rest of Phuket, Rwai Beach is the place to go to. Rawai VIP Villa is about an hour plus away from the airport.
Rawai VIP Villa
Rawai VIP Villa is located about 300 meters away from the beachfront. The setting itself is tranquil and private. It is not gated but the reception fronts the entrance. With security all round the clock, it makes for an assured location to enjoy a family holiday.
Upon arrival ( you can arrange airport transfer with the resort), we were ushered into the reception.
There are a few unique procedures you need to take note of during check in. First, you need to pay a deposit of 5000thb which you can use a
passport as 'deposit' instead of that. Secondly, you will be presented a
list of items in the resort with their respective cost. It is best to go through the list thoroughly when you check into the resort.
After a brief on resort matters, we are ready to check in the resort. We grab our bunch of keys and head towards the resort.

Our home for the next few days is the 3 Bedroom Lux Pool Villa
Step through the door and we were greeted with a large garage. If you rent a vehicle in Phuket, you need not worry about parking spots here.

Living / Dining Room
Living Room / Rawai VIP Villa
The villa has an open concept Living / Dining Room with a full kitchenette. If you want to make your own home cook meal, all the necessary utensils are provided. The living room comes with a 4 seater L shape sofa and the dining room has a 6 seater table to have your meals. Cable TV and wifi are provided for those rainy days and late-night entertainment.

Pool @ Rawai VIP Villa
This 7 by 4 meters pool is the highlight of the Villa.
You have a personalized pool all by yourself with the family. Without a doubt, this was the place the family hang out the most.
Just bring sunblock and you are good to go!
Do note the pool depth is at 1.5 meters. So for younger kids, especially the non-swimmers, floats are a must. The resort does provide some floats but brings your own just in case.

Bedroom 1
The bedrooms were clad in wood and light hues. The style is modern contemporary.

Each bedroom comes with a Queen Size bed and has en suite bathroom. AC is provided in all bedrooms
Bedroom 3
Size-wise, it is pretty comfortable. A safe is provided in one of the main bedrooms.
En suite
The bedrooms have separate entrance facing the pool. This makes it a private enclave for families travelling together. Everyone has their own personalised space and a communal area ( living and pool) to get together. A perfect setup for a retreat for families and friends.
Toiletries are also provided. As for housekeeping, it is not done daily and only available for a longer stay.

For the three-bedroom Lux Villa, there is a private garden complete with a pavilion for you to enjoy.
BBQ facilities are also provided. You can get your BBQ fix at the nearby Rawai Seafood Market if you like to fire up the grill.
Bicycles are also provided. This is useful if you like to purchase a quick bite from the nearby restaurants and convenience stores.
We were wow by our first impression. The villa is about 1 year old and it still maintains its cleanliness and charm. This homely villa feels brand new and a great place to relax with the family.

If you are heading to Rawai with young kids, you will not be disappointed. For guests of the villa, you get unlimited access to Rawai Park - the ultimate play area for kids!
There are four main areas of play in the park Water Area
Water Area
The Water Area is a favourite among the kids. With water slides and water features, the kids could play all day in it. With 40 cm knee-deep water depth, it is a relatively safe place for kids 3 and above.

There are no lifeguards around. However, it is not a concern with the shallow water depth. Parents can either be in the pool with the kids or have their breakfast at Love Rawai Cafe and watch them from the side.

This outdoor playground is a sheltered area next to the pool.

This 250 Sq.m area has 4 slide sets, swings and trampoline. Most important, it is spacious and allows the children to roam around as they please.
Indoor Playroom
The indoor Playroom is meant for toddlers and smaller kids. At 250 sq.m with air conditioner, this play area is full of toys and activities for little ones. There are trampoline, kids-houses, library and more. Perfect for parents with young kids.

Rope Climbing Tower
For kids age 8 and older and want a little more challenging play, this impressive 7meters rope climbing tower is the perfect play area. Think Ninja Warrior meets obstacle course and you would have an idea what is in store. A safety harness is required. Do get the staff assistance before play.

Even though the resort is 300 meters from the beach, you can enjoy sand play at Rawai Park too.
During weekends, kids activities and games are also organized. As we were there during weekdays, we missed the activities at Rawai Park

Love Rawai Cafe
If you are staying in the villa, we recommend to include breakfast in your package. Breakfast is served at Love Rawai Cafe located next to Rawai Park.
Breakfast is served buffet style. At other times, the cafe also offers kids menu as well as thai and European cuisine. Do check directly with the villa on the timing of other meals.

If you want to stay in the villa and not go anywhere else, Rawai VIP Villa is perfect as a one-stop holiday destination. If serenity and charm is your cup of tea, Rawai VIP Villa will be the perfect flavour to savour.

Time to head out and explore
If you need to stretch your legs, take a stroll out to Rawai Beach. You could enjoy the following activities within walking distance from the resort.
Have a Thai meal
There are a few restaurants that line the main road just outside the Villa. Meals are quite decently priced and you could have a Thai meal, western meal or even seafood by the sea.
Enjoy a massage
An hour-long foot massage cost only 300 baht ( about SGD12), where to find?
Take a boat to Bon Island
If time permits and if you are looking for a private beach, take a longtail to the nearby Bon Island. Prices range from 1000 baht return for two and it takes about 15 minutes to reach Bon Island. There is a Bon Island Restaurant should you decided to fill your stomach while out there.
Eat fresh Seafood at Rawai Seafood Market
Head to the famous Rawai Seafood Market, choose your catch and have it cooked in the restaurants opposite. A great place to enjoy fresh seafood for lunch or dinner.
Rent a taxi / Minibus
If you like to explore further, rent a car. We recommended renting the minibus from Rawai VIP Villa. The minibus is all decked out in style, making you feel like a VIP. You can opt for tours or personalised your own trip accordingly.
